Ingredients:
– 1 cucumber, peeled and chopped
– 1 cup melon, chopped
– 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
– 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (for added fiber)
– 1/2 cup mint
– 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or water
– Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
In a blender, combine cucumber, melon, protein powder, chia or flaxseed, and mint. Pour in the almond milk or water and mix until smooth. If desired, add ice and mix again. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
This shake is high in fiber from chia seeds and melons, and provides a better source of protein than protein powder.This shake is refreshing and nutritious.
