Ingredients:
– 1 cup Greek yogurt (for protein)
– 1 banana
– 1/2 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen)
– 4-5 dried/ Fresh figs
– 2 tablespoons raisins
– ¼ cup almonds
– 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for extra fiber)
– 1/2 cup water or almond milk
– Honey or maple syrup to taste (optional)
Instructions:
Soak the raisins, almonds and dried raisins in warm water overnight. Remove before use. In a blender, combine Greek yogurt, bananas, mixed fruit, orange juice, figs,almonds and chia seeds (if using). Add almond milk to taste. Taste shake and add honey or maple syrup if desired. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately for the best taste and texture.
This shake provides a good amount of fiber from grapes, raisins and berries, as well as a boost of protein from Greek yogurt.
