Ingredients:
– 1 cup strawberries, hulled (fresh or frozen)
– 1 cup mango chunks (fresh or frozen)
– 1/4 cup rolled oats
– 1 cup milk (or a dairy-free alternative like almond or coconut milk)
– 1 scoop protein powder (optional, for extra protein)
– 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds (for added fiber)
– 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional, for sweetness)
– Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker texture)
Instructions:
Place the rolled oats, mango, and strawberries in a blender. Add the milk and process until completely smooth. Add the protein powder and/or sweetener and mix once more. Blend for a short while to blend in the flaxseeds or chia seeds. Add a few ice cubes for a thicker shake, then process until the appropriate consistency is achieved.After pouring into a glass, savor.
