Pomegranate and Berries High Fiber Protein Shake


Ingredients:

– 1 cup pomegranate juice (fresh or store bought) .

– 1/2 cup mixture (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) .

– 1 scoop vanilla protein

– 1 tablespoon flax seed

– 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (for extra creaminess and protein).

– 1/2 cup non-almond milk (or any milk of choice).

– ice cubes (optional).

 Instructions:

If using fresh pomegranates, drain the juice with a juicer or mash and strain the seeds to remove the juice. Wash the fruit. Place pomegranate juice, fruit mixture,protein powder, flax seeds, Greek yogurt and almond milk in a blender. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and shaking is smooth. For a cold shake, add the ice and mix again. Pour the shake into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Adjust the flavor by adding a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup if needed.
