Raspberry Green beans Chia seeds oatmeal


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 ½ cups water (or milk of your choice)
  • ½ cup cooked green beans (chopped)
  • ½ cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Extra raspberries and chia seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

In a medium saucepan, bring water (or milk) to a boil. After this add the rolled oats and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low and simmer for five-7 minutes, stirring now and again till the oats are creamy and cooked. Stir in the cooked green beans and chia seeds. If using, add vanilla extract for added flavor. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the chia seeds to take in some liquid and thicken the oatmeal. Gently fold inside the sparkling raspberries. For sweetness drizzle honey or maple syrup to taste. Divide the oatmeal into bowls and garnish with extra raspberries and a sprinkle of chia seeds for introduced texture and visual attraction. Serve heat and enjoy this colorful, nutrient-packed breakfast!
